Tony has been undertaking criminal law work for 29 years with a particular emphasis on White Collar Crime. Tony is a Duty Solicitor and Higher Court Advocate. He has a great deal of experience in Serious Fraud Office prosecutions, Special Case Work prosecutions, Money Laundering and Drugs Importations.
Tony studied at Sussex University and then at Lancaster Gate School of Law.
Tony then returned to East London, which is where he was raised, and started the criminal department of Alexander Johnson Solicitors. The department has now grown to such an extent that criminal work is now the only area of work the firm undertakes.
Tony is approachable and happy to discuss all criminal matters on an informal basis prior to any formal instruction.
Sara qualified as a solicitor in 1997 she studied Biochemistry at Kings College London and thereafter attended law school in Chelmsford. Since qualification Sara has practised exclusively as a criminal defence solicitor and has obtained a wealth of experience in broad spectrum of cases. She is a Police station and Duty solicitor and Higher Court Advocate.
She is a member of the "London Criminal Courts Solicitors Association” Her scientific background has proved invaluable in advising clients in relation to forensic issues and evaluating evidence. Sara specialises in criminal defence work and has a substantial own client base. She has a great deal of experience in criminal defence work ranging from Murder, large Drug Importation, sexual offences and Fraud to more minor offences which she recognises are just as important to the client. Sara has a loyal client base and is often referred work through recommendations which is testament to the excellent results that she achieves and the high level of client care she provides
Alex Darke is a Consultant Solicitor and has been with Alexander Johnson since 2009.
She qualified in 2008 and studied Law at Westminster University. She is a highly experienced criminal lawyer and spends most days at Thames Magistrates Court advising a variety of clients and helping them with their cases at Court. She is a Police Station and Court Duty Solicitor. She has experience in all aspects of criminal law including Murder, Assaults and Serious Fraud matters. She represents clients at all Police Stations and Magistrates Court and is a well known Solicitor on the circuit in London.
Farrah Al-Jarrah is a Consultant Solicitor at Alexander Johnson Solicitors. Farrah studied the LPC at Cardiff University and qualified as a Solicitor in 2002. Farrah is a senior solicitor with 17 years' experience in Criminal Defence work. Farrah is also a Duty Solicitor and regularly appears at the Magistrates' Court.
Farrah has, in her lengthy career, run a varied case load of Magistrates' Court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal cases. She has represented clients charged with serious criminal offences from Murder, Fraud, Rape, Arson and Terrorism Offences. She has a particular interest in Protest cases and represented a number of Extinction Rebellion Protestors.
Farrah is the UK legal advisor for ICEERS, which is a worldwide organisation dedicated to the study and legal protection of plant medicines. For many years Farrah was a legal advisor at the Newham Monitoring Project and was on the committee of the Newham Asian Women's Project.
Mira is an Accredited Police Station Legal Advisor speaking fluent English and Bulgarian, conversational German and Russian languages. She has been educated to a Double Master’s degree level in Social Psychology and Criminology and Forensic Psychology. She became an accredited legal Rep after studying at Cardiff University in 2012.

Steve Stewart is an experienced and skilled Police Station Representative having been advising at the Police Station for over 25 years.
